Not only is the Banks Township Hall the office and meeting space for township officials, but it has a spacious main dining hall that is a perfect setting for your wedding reception, graduation open house, retirement party or family reunion. Built in the 1930s, the hall boasts rich, dark woodwork, a vaulted ceiling, over-sized windows and original hardwood floors that make it well suited to either a formal or rustic event. The 3000 square foot main dining hall has endless arrangement possibilities with your choice of either rectangular tables, round tables or a mixture of both. The main dining hall is sized for gatherings of up to 200 people, depending on seating and table arrangement. Rental of the main dining hall for the day also includes the rental of a second, smaller room at ground level for the day.
The ground level room is a more informal space that is versatile enough to be used for small wedding receptions, bridal showers, meetings or training seminars. The ground level room has been updated and modernized in 2006 with new paint, blinds and tables for a more modern look and feel. This smaller room is where the bathrooms and kitchen are located. This room can be rented separately from the large upstairs main dining hall and is an economical choice for your next event. This room is sized for gatherings of up to 100 people, depending on seating and table arrangement.
Both the main dining hall and the ground level dining room are fully air-conditioned for total comfort.

Russ & Cindy Bolt grow nearly 150 acres of corn, pumpkins, melons, winter squash and flowers, and also raise beef cattle at their farm between Atwood and Ellsworth. They send much of their fall produce to area grocery stores and supermarkets, but also run a thriving roadside market at the farm.
2009 will be the 9th year Russ & Cindy Bolt will turn their cornfield into a complex “maize.” Hundreds of local school children, scouts, church group members and families disappear in the labyrinth - sometimes for as long as an hour - before eventually finding their way back out.
